This spec shoot was one that hit close to home. One of my oldest friends, Aruvi, found her way into boxing after a life-changing injury. What started as personal healing turned into a passion for teaching, growing stronger through community, and finding joy in movement. I created this shoot to highlight a side of fitness we don’t often see. The quiet strength, the resilience, the women who don’t always fit the media’s mold.

We chose to focus on Boxraw, a brand she’s passionate about, and show how they can diversify their marketing to attract the everyday woman, not just the professionals. This was about honoring her story and showing the real power movement holds for healing, self-expression, and strength.
